Important SNAP Update

Due to a pause in federal funding:

  • Most states, including Michigan, will not issue new SNAP benefits in November.
  • EBT cards will not receive new funds on Nov. 1.
  • You can still use any SNAP funds already on your card.

Fair Food Network’s Double Up Food Bucks is still here for you.

We’re making temporary program changes to help families during this time.
From now until December 31, 2025:

  • All earned Double Up Food Bucks will stay valid — no expiration. Use your earned Double Up whenever you need them.
  • Daily match limit is unlimited. Get more fresh fruits & vegetables with your SNAP dollars.
  • Frozen fruits & veggies now eligible statewide! Now you can earn and spend Double Up on frozen produce (no added salt, sugar, or oil) at all participating locations.

Who can earn Double Up now?

  • If you have SNAP funds on your card, you can still earn and spend Double Up.
  • If you have $0 SNAP funds, you can’t earn new Double Up until more SNAP funds are added.

But you can still spend any previously earned Double Up Food Bucks tokens, coupons, or anything earned on your Double Up card if you have one.

Where to use Double Up
