When you shop with a Bridge Card, Double Up offers a dollar-for-dollar match on purchases of fruit and vegetables. Many of our participating Double Up Food Bucks locations, including grocery stores and farmers markets, use the Double Up Card, which offers a convenient way to earn and spend Double Up to bring home more produce!

Get started by visiting a participating location that accepts Double Up Cards. Use our map to find a location near you where you can provide your active Michigan Bridge Card/EBT account to get a Double Up Card.

Use your Double Up Card with the MyFresh Wallet App, and you can access your Double Up account on your phone, view your balance, find locations, and more. Learn more.

Double Up Card Earnings Expiration

Double Up earned on the Double Up Card must be spent within 90 days. Benefits will expire on the 1st of the month following that 90-day period.

If you earned Double Up on the Double Up Card during 2025, these earnings will expire on April 1, 2026.

Check your Double Up Card Balance – Just Text!

Now it’s easier than ever to keep track of your Double Up Food Bucks. Double Up Card shoppers can instantly check their balance by text — anytime, anywhere.

How it Works:

Text the word “BALANCE” or “BAL” to 201-975-8010 to get your balance via text.

If you don’t get a balance right away, you may get a link to enter your Double Up Card info and EBT last 4 digits. If not, you’ll be prompted to create a mobile account or call Double Up support at 866-586-2796.

Download the app

Download Double Up's MyFresh Wallet app from the Google Play Store or Apple's App Store and sign up for a Double Up Food Bucks account.

Shop for fruits and veggies

Go to a participating location and shop for Double Up-eligible products.

Pay with Double Up's MyFresh Wallet

Tell the cashier or market associate you'd like to use Double Up Food Bucks. The cashier will scan the barcode in your app, and your Double Up balance will update automatically. If you don't already have a Double Up Food Bucks balance, the value of your EBT fruit and vegetable purchases will be applied to your Double Up Food Bucks balance and updated in the app.
