TV6: Double Up Food Bucks doubles SNAP benefits for fruit, vegetables

Terese Ledy, TV6 in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, reports on Fair Food Network’s Double Up Food Bucks program during Double Up Awareness Month. For families that use SNAP benefits, you can bring home more fresh fruits and vegetables thanks to this statewide program.

The Double Up Food Bucks program is a year-round program that provides a dollar-for-dollar match on fruits and vegetables for SNAP recipients. The program matches up to $20 a day.
