How Double Up Works
When you use your EBT/Bridge Card at a participating location, Double Up matches your fresh and frozen* fruit and vegetable purchases dollar for dollar, up to $50 a day. That means you and your family get twice the fresh fruits and veggies.
Use Double Up Food Bucks at 230+ participating grocery stores and farmers markets across Michigan. Find a location near you.
* Frozen fruits and vegetables with no added salt, sugar, or oil are now eligible for Double Up at participating locations.
Support Our Work
Launched in Detroit in 2009 by Michigan-based, national nonprofit Fair Food Network, Double Up Food Bucks has become a national model adopted by partners in 30 states to improve healthy food access and boost local economies in their communities.
We're working towards a Michigan where everyone has greater access to fresh, nutritious fruits & veggies. Double Up Food Bucks is a program of Fair Food Network that matches EBT/Bridge Card dollars spent on fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, up to $50 per day. This means more healthy food for families, more business for local farmers, and a boost for local economies. Everyone wins.
