Support Our Work

Launched in Detroit in 2009 by Michigan-based, national nonprofit Fair Food Network, Double Up Food Bucks has become a national model adopted by partners in 30 states to improve healthy food access and boost local economies in their communities.

We're working towards a Michigan where everyone has greater access to fresh, nutritious fruits & veggies. Double Up Food Bucks is a program of Fair Food Network that matches EBT/Bridge Card dollars spent on fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, up to $50 per day. This means more healthy food for families, more business for local farmers, and a boost for local economies. Everyone wins.

Last year, we helped families bring home the Michigan-grown fruits & veggies they need and want while supporting local farmers.
